Everything that is not a dress. Fifty-one pieces — co-ord sets, tops, skirts, jumpsuits, cardigans and layers — designed in London to work alongside the dresses rather than compete with them. Sizes XS to XXXL, with free UK delivery on every order and free 14-day returns.
What this collection is for
Most of what we make is built for an occasion. This part of the range is built for the days around it: the lunch the morning after, the holiday the dress is packed for, the evening that does not warrant a gown.
It is also, deliberately, the cheaper half of the shop. Most of these pieces sit under fifty pounds, which is the point — these are the things you wear twenty times rather than once.
By category
- Co-ord sets — fifteen two-piece sets, from cami-and-shorts holiday pairs to top-and-maxi-skirt combinations. The best value in the collection because the pieces separate.
- Tops and bodysuits — crop tops, camis, corset tops and a jersey bodysuit. The separates that turn a skirt into an outfit.
- Skirts — denim and floral midi skirts, cut for summer and holidays.
- Jumpsuits and playsuits — nine styles, mostly stretch and seamless, cut close.
- Knitwear and cardigans — five pieces for layering over the rest.
- Blazers, jackets and coats — eight outer layers.
- Swimwear — nine pieces for the holiday half of the year.
By season
Summer dominates: thirty-eight of these fifty-one pieces are cut for warm weather, and fifteen are tagged for holidays specifically. Cotton blends, crochet, ribbed jersey and linen-look weaves — fabrics that pack flat and recover from a suitcase.
Autumn and winter are thinner but present: fifteen long-sleeved pieces, five cardigans and eight outer layers. If you are building around a dress for a colder occasion, the cardigans and blazers here are cut to sit over our own shapes rather than fight them.
Spring sits in between, and the co-ord sets do the most work — long-sleeved on a cool morning, separated when it warms up.
Colour
Eighteen of these pieces are black, which is what a supporting wardrobe should be. After that: blue and denim, brown, pink, white, green, beige, grey and purple. The denim runs across skirts, a jumpsuit and a top, and is the most versatile thread through the collection — denim is the one fabric here that pairs with almost every dress we make.
Sizing
This collection runs XS to XXXL, and one style in 1XL, with full measurements in centimetres on the size guide. Our pieces are true to size.
The practical difference from our dresses: separates are far more forgiving. Ribbed and seamless pieces stretch generously, so take your usual size. Woven cotton and denim have little give, so between two sizes take the larger. On co-ord sets, size to your larger half.
Crop lengths are cut for around 5'7". If you are taller, expect them to sit higher than the photograph suggests.
Building outfits from it
Three combinations do most of the work. A denim midi skirt with a plain cami is the summer default, and it works from a market to a garden lunch. A crop top with a maxi skirt from a co-ord set reads deliberate even though it is two halves of different outfits. And a cardigan over one of our slip dresses extends an occasion piece into an ordinary day, which is the single best way to get more wear out of something expensive.
Delivery and returns
UK delivery is free on every order with no minimum spend, and takes around seven working days. Returns are free within 14 days with a prepaid label in the box — so if you are between sizes, order both and send one back at no cost.
