Pink is a range, not a colour

A pink dress covers more ground than any other shade we carry, and the version matters far more than the label.

Dusty rose and blush are the reliable occasion pinks. Soft, neutral enough to sit alongside almost anything, and the most flattering across skin tones. They are what bridal parties choose when they want warmth without brightness.

Fuchsia and hot pink are the evening ones. Striking under artificial light, and best kept to a clean silhouette — a bright pink with heavy detailing tips quickly into costume.

Coral and colour-block sit between and read summer rather than formal.

What we carry

Two maxi and two midi, with a mini. Two are chiffon and two floral, so the weight of this small edit is daytime and summer — garden parties, holidays, warm-weather weddings.

The exceptions are the sequin mini and the off-shoulder bandage bodycon midi, which are the night-out pieces.

Wearing pink to a wedding

Pink is one of the safest guest colours, with the usual caveat: check the bridesmaid palette first. Dusty rose is the single most common bridesmaid shade in Britain, and standing accidentally matched to the bridal party is the mistake this rule exists to prevent.

If you know the party is in pink, go for a stronger fuchsia or step to another colour entirely. If you do not know, a printed pink is safer than a solid one because it will never match exactly.

Sizing

These run XS to XXL, with a style in UK 6 to 8, and full measurements in centimetres on the size guide. Our dresses are true to size.

Between two sizes, take the larger in chiffon and your usual size in anything with stretch. For the bandage bodycon, order to your hip measurement rather than your dress size — bandage fabric holds firm and does not forgive a size down.
