A small edit, deliberately
We make dresses. This corner of the shop exists so that a summer wardrobe built here does not have to be finished somewhere else — two pieces that pair with the tops and co-ord halves we already carry.
The wide leg trousers
A pleat-front, high-waisted wide leg trouser is the most useful non-dress piece a summer wardrobe can have. The pleat gives room through the hip without adding bulk, the high waist gives you a defined line to tuck into, and the wide leg reads dressier than anything narrower.
Worn with one of our cami or crop tops, it makes an outfit that works for a warm evening, a lunch or a relaxed office. It runs to 4XL, the widest size range in the shop.
On length: wide leg trousers are cut to be worn with some heel height. If you plan to wear them flat, expect to have them taken up, and do it — a wide leg that drags is the fastest way to make a good trouser look wrong.
The denim shorts
A frayed-hem distressed denim short is the holiday piece. It goes over swimwear, under a cover-up, with a plain vest and a sandal, and it survives a suitcase better than almost anything else.
Denim has almost no give, so this is the piece to be careful about sizing. Size to your hip measurement rather than your waist — on a short, the hip is where it will bind if anywhere.
Sizing
The trousers run S to 4XL, the shorts S to XL. Full measurements in centimetres are on the size guide.
Both are woven rather than stretch, so between two sizes take the larger. For the trousers, size to your waist since the cut is high and the leg is generous below it. For the shorts, size to your hip.
Delivery and returns
UK delivery is free on every order with no minimum spend, and takes around seven working days. Returns are free within 14 days with a prepaid label in the box.
Where to look next
For the top half, tops and bodysuits. For two pieces that already match, co-ord sets. For skirts instead, skirts, and for the wider range, clothing.
