Small collection, specific job

We are a dress shop first, and this edit is deliberately narrow. It exists to do one thing well: give you the top half of an outfit when the bottom half already exists — a skirt from our own range, your own jeans, or the separated half of a co-ord set.

That is also the honest way to think about a going out top. The best one is not the most elaborate; it is the one that works with three different bottoms you already own. Everything here is cut to that brief.

What we carry

  • Off-the-shoulder and square neck — ribbed strappy tanks and stretch crop tops. The most flattering necklines for anyone who wants shape without a low front.
  • Corset and tie-front — a strapless polka dot corset top and a tie-front deep V long sleeve. Structure at the waist, which is what makes a plain skirt look considered.
  • Backless camis — cotton-blend, cut slim, for warm evenings.
  • Bodysuit — a square neck short sleeve jersey style. The reason to own one is simple: it does not come untucked, which no top can promise.

Three are black, three white, with one blue and one brown. Black and white is the right split for a small edit — they are the two that go with everything else in the shop.

Cropped, and how to judge it

Five of these seven are cropped, and crop length is the thing people get wrong buying online. Ours are cut for around 5'7". If you are taller, expect them to sit an inch or two higher than the photograph shows.

The reliable test is not the model but your own waistband. Measure from your shoulder to where your highest-waisted skirt sits, and compare it to the garment length on the size guide. A crop top that ends exactly at a high waistband looks intentional; one that ends an inch above it looks like it shrank.

Sizing

These run XS to XXL. Our pieces are true to size, and most of this edit is ribbed or stretch jersey with real give, so take your usual size. The corset top is the exception — it is structured and has almost no stretch, so between two sizes take the larger.

For a strapless style, size to your underbust rather than your bust. It is the measurement that decides whether it stays up, and it is the one nobody checks.

What to wear with them

A white crop top with a denim midi skirt is the summer default and the reason both exist. A black cami under a blazer takes an evening piece into a work day. A corset top with a maxi skirt from one of our co-ord sets reads as a full outfit rather than two halves.

If you own one thing from this edit, make it black and make it plain — it will pair with every printed skirt and dress we sell.
